My name is Brian Leonard and I am a beach-a-holic. Not really, more like a Shore-a-holic. I was born and raised at the Jersey Shore and I couldn’t imagine living away from here. I was lucky enough to grow up in Point Pleasant and live on the Canal. My family and I now live in Bricktown, NJ, about 3 blocks from the Metedeconk River and a mile from the beach. Living here all my life, I thought I pretty much knew all the local areas. But recently I started working at Ocean Beach Sales & Rentals handling vacation properties. This little gem of a place is definately under the radar compared to Point Pleasant or Seaside, and that is truly lucky for the almost cult like vacationers who make their pilgrimage here year after year.
A lot of my blog will center on Ocean Beach and the surrounding tiny beach communties. But it will not be un-common for me to talk about places/happenings/whatknots from Seaside to Point Pleasant. So what the heck is this blog about? Well I hope it will be interesting to both locals and vacationers alike. It will list some area events, some restaurant and local business reviews, some beach talk, and some mildly amusing ramblings by myself.
